Meet Dara Bergen, MPH, RDN, CDN, CDCES

Your Partner in Optimal Male Fertility and Sperm Health

Dedicated to the Science of Male Reproduction

While much of the fertility world focuses on the female partner, I have dedicated my practice to the other 50% of the equation. As a specialized male fertility dietitian, I help men navigate the complex intersection of nutrition, lifestyle, and reproductive health.

My mission is to empower men with data-driven, evidence-based strategies to improve sperm quality naturally and build the foundation for a healthy family.

My Clinical Expertise

With a Master’s in Public Health and multiple certifications in clinical nutrition and diabetes care, I look at fertility through a comprehensive lens. I specialize in addressing the metabolic and environmental factors that often go overlooked in standard fertility care, including:

  • Metabolic Health & Sperm Quality: Managing insulin resistance and blood sugar to optimize testosterone and sperm production.
  • Environmental Toxicology: Identifying endocrine disruptors and environmental toxins that impact hormonal balance and DNA integrity.
  • Precision Supplementation: Moving beyond generic multivitamins to create targeted protocols that reduce sperm DNA fragmentation.
  • Performance Nutrition for ART: Helping men prepare for the high stakes of IVF, IUI, and sperm banking.

Why I Focus on Men’s Fertility

I founded this practice because I saw a massive gap in care. Men are often given a “normal” semen analysis and told they are fine, or given an “abnormal” report and told there is nothing they can do.

The truth is sperm health is highly responsive to targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes—especially during the critical 8–12 week window of sperm development. Whether you’re preparing for IVF or sperm freezing, navigating an abnormal or suboptimal semen analysis, or planning ahead as an intended father, I provide a clear, personalized roadmap to help you optimize your fertility. I work with men locally and across the U.S. through telehealth, offering practical, evidence-based strategies to improve key sperm parameters—including motility, morphology, and DNA integrity.
Take the first step toward better sperm health.
